"Gabriela" - the female hero of GMA 7's Asian Treasures celebrated her birthday with her namesake Gabriela or the General Assembly Binding Women for Reforms, Integrity, Equality, Leadersh i p and Action" a party-list organization of women groups running in the May 14 elections.
Actress Angel Locsin's video endorsement of Gabriela was also launched via YouTube on Sunday.
A statement from the party-list group said Locsin held a birthday p a r t y with Gabriela because he belived in its support to women who fight for their rights. Locsin celebrated her 22nd birthday last April 23.
